Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and billing for Kekula subscriptions. By subscribing to our Service, you agree to this Policy.

2. Subscription Types
2.1 Individual Subscriptions
We offer subscription plans billed on a recurring basis. Current options include monthly and quarterly plans. We may introduce additional subscription types in the future.
2.2 Institute Subscriptions
Educational institutions may subscribe based on number of students. Volume-based discounts may apply. Contact support@kekula.ai for institutional pricing.
3. Free Access Tier
3.1 Free Access Terms
- All new users receive free access to limited content
- No payment method is required for free access
- Free access includes select courses, AI Playground activities, and AI Blox blocks
- Free access begins when you complete signup and continues indefinitely
3.2 Upgrading to Paid Subscription
- You may upgrade to a paid subscription at any time to unlock full access
- Your subscription begins when you complete the payment process
- Full access to all premium features is available immediately upon subscribing
4. 14-Day Refund Policy
4.1 Refund Eligibility
You may request a full refund within 14 days of activating your paid subscription, for any reason.
Conditions:
- The 14-day period begins on the date your paid subscription is activated (i.e., when payment is processed)
- This applies to all customers worldwide
- Refunds are available for the first subscription payment only
4.2 Effect of Refund
If you request a refund within the 14-day period:
- Your subscription will be immediately cancelled
- Your access to the Service will be immediately terminated
- The refund will be processed to your original payment method
4.3 Processing Fees
We may deduct any non-recoverable payment processing fees from your refund amount. These fees are charged by third-party payment processors and are beyond our control.
4.4 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the 14-day period:
- Email support@kekula.ai with subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address
- Include the date of your subscription activation
Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
5. After the 14-Day Period
5.1 No Refunds After 14 Days
After the 14-day refund period has expired, no refunds will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind
- Failure to use the Service
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal
- Dissatisfaction with the Service
5.2 Cancellation After 14 Days
If you cancel your subscription after the 14-day period:
- You will not receive a refund
- Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again
6. Exceptions
6.1 Billing Errors
If you were charged incorrectly due to our error (e.g., duplicate charges, incorrect amount), we will issue a full refund of the erroneous charge. Contact support@kekula.ai within 30 days of the charge.
7. Cancellation Policy
7.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your account and going to Account Settings > Subscription
- Contacting our support team at support@kekula.ai
7.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect
- Within 14 days of activation: Immediate cancellation and refund (see Section 4)
- After 14 days: Access continues until the end of your current billing period
7.3 After Cancellation
- Your account data is retained for 90 days in case you want to resubscribe
- You may download your content before your access ends
- After 90 days, your account data may be permanently deleted
7.4 Reactivation
You may resubscribe at any time. Reactivation starts a new subscription and billing period.
8. Chargebacks
8.1 Contact Us First
Please contact us at support@kekula.ai before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.
8.2 Chargeback Consequences
- Initiating a chargeback may result in immediate account suspension
- We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks
- Accounts terminated due to chargebacks are not eligible for reactivation
9. Recurring Billing
9.1 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
9.2 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices
- Price changes apply to renewals after the change is posted
- You may cancel before renewal if you do not agree to the new price
