Every AI you chat with — is a stranger. A really helpful stranger, but still a stranger. And like any stranger, you should think twice about what you tell it. This one's about staying safe.

Rule one. Never share personal info with AI tools. Your full name. Home address. School. Location from GPS. Birthday. Photos of you. Passwords. The AI company stores all of it — once in, you can't pull it back. Think about your location — it tells strangers where you are. Think about passwords — the AI might remember them in a log.

Here's where stuff goes. You type something. It hits a server somewhere. Gets stored. Sometimes used to train the next version. Sometimes reviewed by humans for quality. Treat it like writing on a billboard — except you can't take it down.

Rule two. AI sounds smart even when it's wrong. Made-up court cases. Fake history. Fake scientific studies. We call this hallucination. The AI doesn't know it's lying — it's just predicting what sounds plausible. Always check important facts.

Rule three. AI can fake voices, photos, videos that look completely real. Someone could clone your friend's voice and call you asking for money. Or text you a fake screenshot. Treat anything urgent as suspicious until you confirm in person.

Five quick rules to lock in. One — think before you share, anything you type might stick around forever. Two — never upload private pictures. Three — never share your GPS location with AI. Four — don't click suspicious files or links from AI. Five — anything weird, ask an adult. They've seen this stuff.

Your turn. I'll show you what someone might type into an AI. You decide — OK to send, or hold back? Some are obvious. Some are sneaky. Build the habit.

Privacy isn't a one-time setting. It's a habit. Every time you type into AI — pause. Is this safe to share? AI can be amazing. AI can also leak, mistake, and trick. Be the smart one in the room.
